Check out the 42 spectacular islands of the incredible Ang Thong Marine Park on a fast and exciting speedboat trip which includes snorkeling, hiking and swimming.

First stop, our friendly team will take you to Koh Wao where you can snorkel and explore the rich variety of sea life. Koh Wao is at the northernmost point of the park and where the snorkeling is often the best.

You will then head off to the centre of the park to the islands of Koh Wua Ta Lab and Mae Koh. Here you have the chance to hike up to its highest viewpoint, overlooking the gulf and also see the famous Emerald Lake.

Once you’ve been blown away by the park’s viewpoints, a path down the other side will lead you to the Emerald Lake’s surface to marvel from another perspective, this time looking up in awe at the towering limestone karsts surrounding it.

You’ll enjoy a local lunch at Koh Paluay, a less-visited island with a traditional Thai fishing community. After a delicious meal in the local village, it will be time to explore the rugged coastline by kayak or relax on the beach and make the most of the sun. Either way, you’re sure to blissfully enjoy paradise. Song Pee Nong Beach is a beautiful beach surrounded by rocky coastline and perfect for your last few hours exploring. Previous guests have commented that Koh Phaluay was their favourite part of the day.

  • Numerous operators run tours from Koh Samui to Ang Thong National Marine Park, but we often recommend this one to help guests avoid other groups, since this operator makes an effort to find some peaceful spots.
  • Near Koh Wao and Koh Mae Koh, there will always be other boats visiting the popular parts of the park for the views and snorkeling. That means that Koh Paluay is a great place to spend the afternoon away from the crowds. Koh Palauy is also revered as a green island as it is self-sufficient in energy, which further helps protect its threatened wildlife.
