On the morning of your excursion, you will be picked up by our comfortable air-conditioned minibuses and then you’ll be driven to our pier in Bangrak, near the Big Buddha.

At the pier, you will have breakfast as we explain the exciting day ahead. Once everyone is ready, you will board the speedboat and depart at approximately 9.30 am.

The speedboat will transport you to Koh Phangan where you will spend a short time at Baan Tai. Baan Tai is the main port and fishing village of this small island and also where we change over to the 4×4 vehicles. Our speedboats will not go directly to the snorkelling and scenic areas so we don’t spoil them.

The 4×4 vehicle will head across the island’s dense interior. You’ll quickly be snorkelling and enjoying the shallow waters and amazing scenery of Koh Mah at the northern tip of the island. Koh Mah is a small island connected to the main island by a long sandbar which can be explored along with the marine life which inhabits the surrounding waters.

Next, we will head inland to Wangsai waterfall where a beautiful jungle playground area awaits. Here you can chill in the pool, admire the view out to sea and even get a fruit shake. Please note: the waterfall’s water could run dry on this trip if you go in April and May at the end of the hot and dry season.

Next, you will have a short rest with some great food. A big buffet lunch together with some seasonal Thai fruit will recharge you for the second part of the day.

In the afternoon you will hop back on the 4×4’s and safari overland to the Amsterdam bar, a fantastic place to kick back, relax and enjoy the view out to the calm cool waters of the Gulf.

We will then head back to the coast and spend the rest of the day hanging out at Koh Raham. At this peaceful and isolated location, you can really live the true deserted island life for a couple of hours. Chill under a mango tree, sunbathe, play on the beach, swim in the sea and snorkel with the colourful fishes.

At around 1600 we will head back to Koh Samui once again by speedboat. After a quick goodbye, you will be driven back to your place of accommodation at around 1630.

Koh Phangan is known worldwide for its full moon party. However, this green island is still remarkably unspoiled and has many stunning jungle views and white sandy beaches. There was an attempt to build a private airport here by a Thai billionaire around 10 years ago but in an attempt to protect the peaceful environment and the Kings National Parkland, the project was shut down before the runway could be completed.
