You will be picked up from your place of accommodation by Kohsamuitours.com and we’ll drive for approximately 40 minutes up through scenic coconut groves and fruit plantation areas before arriving at the farm. Paradise park farm is one of the best activities on the island for very small children. The combination of cute and cuddly animals and the swimming pool is tough to beat for the youngest in the family and will hopefully keep them occupied for a few hours at least.
Once there, the family adventure will begin. You can easily enter the park with your allocated e-ticket and voucher provided for by us. After entering you’ll be welcomed by the extraordinary multi coloured free-roaming and friendly parrots and pigeons which bewilder the eyes. Seeds and grains are available for purchase at a cost of 20 baht to feed these brightly colored exotic birds.
Going further into the park you can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with all the animals at your leisure while you wander up and down along the paths, some of which are quite steep, and that traverse around the mountainside. In the farm you can interact and visit birds, lizards, monkeys, deer, goats, peacocks, rabbits, horses and cows.
After you have met all the animals and explored the park, you can take a bite to eat or even a fruit smoothie in the park’s view point restaurant. Or perhaps enjoy a swim in the infinity pool overlooking the jungle and valley which slopes gently down to the sea. There are sunbeds available and towel provided by the park too, for a deposit fee of 200baht. In the hotter seasons, higher up in the hills you will experience more comfortable and cooler weather than on the rest of the island. However, a pool is of course, always welcome and refreshing wherever you are on holiday.
Once all the animals are well fed and you have cooled off in the pool, you can take some final photos of the views and if you stay long enough catch the last rays of the sun as it settles down over the hills and Koh Samui coastline. Change into some dry clothes and get your belongings before enjoying once again the winding and dipping roads with impressive rural scenery as you drive back to the hotel.
All the inhabitants of the farm are well-groomed, well-fed and entertained – by you the visitors, too! All the staff live right here, so animals are always under control and they are examined by a veterinarian once a week.
